Mike was a regular member of our lunch club at the Shipley Bridge Inn, along with his best friend Martin, who taught him to fly. All of us had a connection to aviation through Doc Chapman, and Mike used to tell us tales of his life as a policeman, as well as his flying days. At yesterdays meet we a raised a few pounds in memory of Mike, hence this contribution to his memorial fund. He will be much missed at our meetings and will be remembered.
